Hostel Orientation Programme for 1st Year the Hostel Boarders of KIIT Schools of Technology
Hostel Orientation Programme was conducted on 3rd and 4th March 2022 for the 1st year hostel boarders of KIIT Schools of Technology. This programme was specially designed to inform the hostel boarders about the rules and regulations of KIIT Hostels. A ‘Hand Book for Hostel Residents -Rules for Boarders’ was distributed to all the boarders as a normal practice and for a wider awareness of the rules and regulations.
Dr. Biswajit Sahoo, Director General, KIIT School of Computer Engineering; Dr. Samaresh Mishra, Director, Student Affairs; Prof. Prasanta Rath, Dean, KIIT School of Applied Science; Mr. Sarbeswar Mohanty, Assistant Professor, KIIT School of Humanities; and Dr. Mrutyunjay Das highlighted the code of conduct for boarders, accommodation rules, safety and security, collective responsibilities, daily attendance system, mess rules, right of the authority and disciplinary undertakings.
Dr. A.A. Acharya, Senior Superintendents; Dr. Asish Ku Pani, Superintendent; Dr. Prakash Kumar Sahu, Deputy Superintendent; Mr. Rashmi Ranjan Mishra, Asst. Superintendent and other Hostel officials briefed the students on the important rules and regulations at the two-day programme.
Mr. Sudhir Kumar Rath, Director-Hostel proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Tapan Kumar Pati, Administrative Officer, Hostel also spoke on the occasion.
