Orientation Programme of KIIT Robotics Society
KIIT Robotics Society (KRS) of School of Electronics Engineering conducted the orientation programme-cum-recruitment drive for the session 2020 on 12th September 2020. The official website, fully developed by the members of the society, was also launched on the day. The programme aimed at providing the participants an insight into various aspects of the society including vision, work, future prospects and benefits of being a part of this society. It portrayed its domain of work and threw light on start-ups, placements and the importance of publishing research papers much to the benefit of the participants.
The event was coordinated and hosted by the members of the society (Aryabrata Sahoo, P. V. S. Meghana, Utsav, Vandana Shekhar, Sagnik Roy, Ujjwal Kumar, Avneet Kuar, Shrey Shah, Anwita Chakraborty) and graced by the faculty coordinators of KRS (Prof. N. K. Rout, Prof. V. K. Shrivastava, Prof. M. R. Kumar) who shared their valuable views and vision for the aspiring participants.
Alumni of the society joined the event and shared their inspiring and heart-warming experiences. It not only motivated all the participants, but also highlighted the rich heritage of the society. The programme was attended by over 170 participants of different branches and all academic years of KIIT Deemed to be University. It was a highly successful event with a great response, enthusiasm and zeal.
