KIIT Faculty Invited as Expert Speaker at STTP on ‘Advances in Bio Signal & Image Processing’

Dr. Vimal K. Shrivastava, Assistant Professor (II), School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT-DU was invited as an Expert Speaker for the Short Term Training Program (STTP) on “Advances in Bio Signal & Image Processing” organized by Government Engineering College, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. In the one-week STTP, eminent resource persons from premier institutes such as IIIT Raipur, IIIT Bhagalpur, NIT Raipur and VNIT Nagpur participated. Dr. Shrivastava’s session at the STTP was titled, ‘Image Classification Using Convolutional Neural Network’. His session included an introduction to deep learning, detailed discussion on CNN architecture along with practical sessions using Python in Google Colab.
