Alumni Tech Talk on “From Sand to Silicon: A Journey of Becoming Chip Design Engineer” at KIIT School of Electronics Engineering
School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT DU, organized an Alumni Tech-Talk on 26th February, 2022 on the topic- “From Sand to Silicon: A Journey of Becoming Chip Design Engineer”.
The speaker Ms. Hansa Mohanty, a Digital Design & Verification Engineer at Fraunhofer IIS, Erlangen, Germany narrated about her journey in KIIT, the importance of VLSI, the need for embedded systems in VLSI, recent higher study scenarios in the chip design and verification sector, and also showed hands-on with digital chip verification.
The session was very interactive and the students learned a lot from the session. The speaker also guided the audience regarding different aspects of higher studies abroad. Earlier, the guest was welcomed by Dr. Arindam Basak, Asso. Dean, T&P, School of Electronics Engineering. The session was attended by the students of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year along with faculty members from the School of Electronics Engineering.
