NSS KIIT School of Computer Engineering Celebrates ‘DAAN Mahotsav’

SS KIIT School of Computer Engineering celebrated ‘DAAN Mahotsav’ with the children of MANNA, an orphanage in Bhubaneswar. The local volunteers visited the orphanage and conducted the DAAN initiative, while the rest of the volunteers joined the celebration online and conducted an interactive and fun session.

During the event, the volunteers sang songs and engaged with the children through some interesting quizzes. The children showcased their knowledge and talent as they answered the questions with passion and enthusiasm. At the end of the event, the volunteers of NSS SCE distributed treats among all the children as a part of the DAAN initiative.

The aim of the initiative was to spread smiles and make the festival of lights joyous for all. This entire event in NSS SCE was conducted under the able guidance of the KIIT NSS Bureau Program Coordinator, Dr. Kajal Parashar, and program officers NSS SCE, Prof. Ramakant Parida, Prof. Sital Dash, and Prof. Minakhi Rout.
