KIIT School of Computer Engineering Organizes Orientation Programme for Ph.D. Students

School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University organized an Orientation Programme for Ph.D. students enrolled in the academic session 2020-2021 on 19th January 2021, via virtual and physical mode.

The event started with a short video on the activities and achievements of KIIT and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and its Founder, Prof. Achyuta Samanta. Prof. (Dr.) Biswajit Sahoo, Director, School of Computer Engineering; Prof. (Dr.) Samaresh Mishra, Director, Student Affairs; Prof. (Dr.) M. N. Das, Senior Professor; Prof. (Dr.) B. S. P. Mishra, Dean (CSE); Prof. (Dr.) Arup A. Acharya, Dean (IT); Prof. (Dr.) Prachyet Bhuyan, Dean (Placement); Prof. (Dr.) H. K. Tripathy, Program Head (M.Tech.); and Prof. (Dr.) Sudhansu Patra, Associate Professor addressed the newly admitted students.

The programme was coordinated and hosted by Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Chandra Satapathy, Dean (Research), School of Computer Engineering. He explained to students about the guidelines, rules and regulations of the Ph.D. programme along with other necessary procedures and formalities they need to complete post admission. The programme ended with a brief introduction of the scholars followed by a question answer session.  Around 60 participants including faculty members and Ph.D. scholars from School of Computer Engineering and School of Computer Application participated at the event.
