KIIT School of Computer Engineering Organizes Lecture on Internet of Things
Dr. Rahul Thakur, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Roorkee, India, delivered a lecture on “Internet of Things: Architectures, Communication Technologies, and Applications” on 31st July 2021. The lecture was organized by the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University. He discussed about IOT, its applications, architecture of IOT, Underwater IOT, Edge Computing, Use of Machine Learning in IOT, some Communication Technologies and the open research areas of IOT. His lecture immensely benefited the graduate students with an opportunity to get a head start in the Internet of Things area, which is an emerging technology in the field of Computer Science. The event was coordinated and hosted by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mallick, Associate Professor, School of Computer Engineering.
