KIIT School of Computer Applications Conducts Orientation Programme for the 1st Year MCA, BCA and B.Sc. Students
The School of Computer Applications (SCA), KIIT Deemed to be University conducted the orientation programme for the first year MCA, BCA and B.Sc. students on 22nd September 2020. Professor Veena Goswami, Director, SCA congratulated the students for joining KIIT, an ‘Institution of Eminence’ and one of the finest universities in the country. She underscored the importance of hard work and dedication, stating that nothing can substitute focus and determination.
Professor Manas Mukul, Faculty Coordinator (Placements) spoke about acquiring and scaling up technical as well as soft skills to become more employable in the market. He also discussed the training and placement facilities offered by KIIT and how the students should leverage on the same. Professor Manoj Ranjan Mishra, Assistant Controller of Examination gave a detailed explanation about the SAP system, importance of attendance and the examination system.
The program was anchored by Professor Sadhna Sudershana who said that attitude decides the altitude of an individual. She also conducted an interactive session with the students and engaged them throughout. The program ended with a ‘vote of thanks’ by Professor Sadhna Sudershana.
