KIIT School of Civil Engineering Organizes Orientation Program for Ph.D. Students
The School of Civil Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University organized the orientation program for the Ph.D. students admitted in the academic session 2020-21 on virtual mode on 13th February 2021. Prof. Sanjib Moulick, Dean, School of Civil Engineering; Dr. Jyotiprakash Padhi, Postgraduate and Research Program Head; Dr. Bitanjaya Das, Senior Professor; Dr. Prasanna Kumar Acharya, Ph.D. Coordinator; Dr. Purna Chandra Saha, B. Tech. Program Head; and Ph.D. Supervisors addressed the Ph.D. students.
Congratulating and welcoming the newly joined research scholars, Prof. Sanjib Moulick gave a brief overview on the research facilities and computational software available in various laboratories, library resources and achievements of the School, including research, consultancy and outreach activities. He also emphasized on the quality of research work to be undertaken by the research works.
Dr. Jyotiprakash Padhi explained the Ph.D. rules and regulations including quality publications, filing patents and importance of setting the research problem to all the research scholars. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. P. K. Acharya.
