KIIT School of Biotechnology Organizes Biotech Industry Conclave
KIIT School of Biotechnology (KSBT) organized a two-day Biotech Industry Conclave on 23rd and 24th September 2022. This 8th Annual Biotech Industry Conclave marked the first offline conclave after two years. The inaugural session was graced by Mr. Pritesh Singh Bhatia, Associate Director-HR, Jubilant Biosys Ltd.; Dr. Jayshri Pramod, Regulatory Scientific Lead, Novartis India; Prof. Saranjit Singh, Pro Vice-Chancellor, KIIT-DU; and Dr. Srinivas Pattnaik, Dean, KSBT.
On the first day of the conclave, the delegates deliberated on the effect of restructured policies and SOPs to ensure efficient workforce after the pandemic. Among others, Ms. Varsha Alok Ranjan, Regional HR Manager, APAC, Premier Research; Ms. Sujoyta Ghosh, Talent Coach, Nutaste Food & Drink Labs Pvt. Ltd; and Mr. Rupankar Chakrabarti, Head-HR, Rain Industries Ltd. contributed to the discussion.
Dr. Priyaranjan Pattnaik, Head, NBE Services, Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Ltd; Dr. Babu U V, Head-R&D, Himalaya Wellness Company; Dr. Subhendu Seal, Products Leader-Research Business, Cytiva, Pvt Ltd; and Dr. Babu Ponnusamy, Deputy GM in R&D, Intas Pharmaceuticals discussed the strategic modifications that can help the Biopharma industry achieve soaring global expectations. The session concluded with a keynote address by Mr. Amrut Medhekar, Senior VP, Zydus Cadila.
