KIIT Professor Invited to 1st National Scientists Round Table Conference
Dr. SKS Parashar, Professor in School of Applied Sciences (Phy) at KIIT Deemed to be University and Convener, ISCA Bhubaneswar Chapter was invited to the MIT-WPU 1st National Scientists Round Table Conference (NSRTC 2024), held from 19th – 21st July, 2024 in Pune.
Many distinguished scientists and visionaries were present on this ground breaking occasion, including Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D Karad, Founder & President of MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune; Rahul Vishwanath Karad, Executive President, MIT-WPU; Padma Vibhushan Dr. Ragunath A Mashelkar, Formal Director General, CSIR; Padma Vibhushan Dr. Vijay P. Bhatkar, Founder Director, CDAC, Pune; Padma Shri Prof. Dr. Ganapati D. Yadav, Former Vice-Chancellor, ICT Mumbai; Padma Shri Prof. T. Pradeep, IIT Madras; Prof. Umesh Waghmare, JNCASR, Bangalore; Prof. Sunil S. Bhagwat, Director, IISER Pune; and Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar Ganguli, Director, IISER Berhampur. Prof. Dr. Bharat B Kale, Director CoE of Materials Science, MIT-WPU; Prof. Dr. R.M. Dr Parashar was invited as a distinguished speaker to the conference. His topic of discussion was “Roadmap of Advanced Materials in the Emerging Field of Microwave Technology and Energy Storage”. He also presented his thoughts about energy harvesting implying the very possible and attainable future in high frequency operation goals of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ by Year 2047.
Dr. S.K.S. Parashar’s talk mesmerized the eminent gathering, who were captivated by the vision and work of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS. Shri Rahul V. Karad and Prof. Dr. Bharat B. Kale expressed their intention to collaborate with Dr. S.K.S. Parashar for the communication of science and technology for the upliftment of society and peace in India.
