Virtual Alumni Talk at KINS
Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS), KIIT-DU organized virtual alumni talks by Miss Swastika Das and Mrs Ipsita Bagchi on 26th March 2022. This was the sixth talk under the Alumni Talk Series at KINS. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Niyati Das, Principal, KINS congratulated the alumni speakers for their success and explained the objectives of the alumni talk series.
In her talk on “Nursing Resilience”, Miss Das, who is presently working as an Asst Professor, Era College of Nursing, Era University, Lucknow, explained resilience, nursing resilience, importance of nursing resilience and problems faced. She is an alumna of M.Sc (N) programme (2013-2015 batch). Mrs Bagchi, Asst. Professor, College of Nursing, Asia Heart Foundation, Kolkata expressed her personal experiences and how self motivation helped her to achieve success. She also expressed her gratitude and thanks to all the faculty members of KINS. She was a M.Sc of KINS (2014-2016 batch).
Both the speakers answered questions asked by the students. Mrs Purnima Sahoo, Asst Professor, KINS also spoke on the occasion. The vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Bajrang Kamudi, Tutor. About 150 students of M.Sc Nursing 1st year, 2nd year, B.Sc (N) 3rd year, GNM 1st year and 3rd year attended the talk.
