Pan India Nurse Led Heart Failure Mgement Program

Heart failure is the most burning problem of society in India due to the lifestyle changes. Therefore, a need based One day CNE on Pan India Nurse led Heart failure management program was organized by the Department of Medical Surgical Nursing (KINS) on 14th August. Dr. L. Gopichandran (Vice president- TNAI Delhi Branch, Lecturer, College of Nursing, AIIMS, New Delhi) was the invited speaker who has been leading this initiative to empower the student  nurses & nursing affairs across India. Students of B.Sc(N)2nd & 3rd year, M.Sc(N) 1st & 2nd year, GNM 2nd year along with nursing staff of PBMH and faculties of KINS participated whole heartedly in KIDS Aiditorium.

The program started with welcoming of the guest &  lamp lighting at 2.30 pm. Followed by the enlightening oration by renowned nurse leader Dr. L. Gopichandran  on the topic. Post his lecture Sir was felicitated & thanked by Prof.(Mrs.) Niyati Das, vice principal College of nursing, KINS. Programme came to an end with snacks and certificate distribution.
