KINS’ Seminar on Research Design

Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS), a constituent of KIIT-DU organised a seminar on “Research design” on August 31, 2023 comprising B.Sc. Nursing third-year students.

The seminar started with a welcome address by Jayashree Pradhan,Tutor, KINS. Speaking on the topic “Steps of research process”, Prof.Kalyani Rath, Vice-Principal of KINS highlighted the basics of research and phases of quantitative and qualitative analysis.

This was followed by a talk on “Research approach and design” byProf. Asokan R, R&D in-charge and HoD of Medical Surgical Nursing Dept, KINS by citing various examples.

Associate Prof. V. Sivasankari, HoD, Mental Health Nursing, KINS delivered a talk on “Writing problem statements and objectives” in detail. The informative session was attended by B.Sc. Nursing third year students and faculty members of KINS.
