KINS Organizes Quiz Competition among Postnatal Mothers

On the occasion of Breastfeeding Week, the Department of Child Health Nursing, Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS), KIIT DU, in association with SOMI Odisha Chapter, conducted a quiz competition on Breastfeeding and New-born care practices among postnatal mothers in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology ward of KIMS. The Quiz was moderated by Mrs. Rashmiranjita Parhi and Mrs. Sweta Rani Dalai, Tutor, KINS. About 20 postnatal mothers participated at the event .The mothers getting 1^st and 2^nd positions were awarded prizes with appreciation by Dr. Manas Ku. Nayak, Neonatologist, KIMS and Mrs. Surekha Mohapatra, Nursing Supervisor, Dept. of O&G, KIMS.

Ms Daini Sunita, Tutor, KINS, on behalf of KINS family, expressed her gratitude to Dept. of O&G staff, NICU staff, faculty members and all the students from M.Sc. (N) 1^st and 2^nd year for their active participation to make the event successful.
