KINS Organizes Guest Lecture on “Community Based Rehabilitation: New Perspectives”
Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS) organized a lecture on “Community Based Rehabilitation: New Perspectives” on 26th March 2022 through virtual mode. The speaker of the lecture was Dr. Kamlesh Kumari Sharma, Associate Professor, College of Nursing, AIIMS, New Delhi. Her lecture immensely benefited the post graduate, graduate and diploma Nursing students and faculty members. It provided them an insight into disability statistics in India, principles of community based rehabilitation (CBR), participation, empowerment, self advocacy, sources of help in delivering of CBR services, its components, elements and CBR matrix. Earlier, Prof. Dr. Niyati Das, Principal, KINS welcomed the speaker and delivered the keynote address. The event was coordinated and hosted by Mrs. Soumya Sonalika, Assistant Professor, KINS.
