Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences Conducts & Journal Club Presentation

Journal Club presentation is used as a teaching or learning format in academic Medicine for over a hundred years.

Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS) conducted Journal Club Presentation on 22^nd March 2021. Prof. Mrs. Amarita Lenka, Principal, KINS (CON) chaired the session comprising two presentations by 2^nd year post graduate students.

The first speaker Mr. Divyanshu Tiwari, a M.Sc. 2^nd year student, presented the research article on “Effectiveness of Bates Therapy on Visual Problems among Elderly People.” The second speaker Ms. Akansha Tripti Horo, also a M.Sc. 2^nd yr student, presented the article on “Impact of Maternal Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 Detection on Breast Feeding due to Infant Separation at Birth”.

Each presentation was followed by discussion and critique. Such presentations and critique help the researcher to get insight into research problems and in-depth knowledge in the research process. The programme was attended by M.Sc. 2^nd year students and faculty members of KINS.
