One day seminar on the topic “Pre–Requisite of effective teaching” was organized by faculities of Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences on dt. 29 Oct. 2019 at KIMS Auditorium. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Prof. (Mrs.) Amarita Lenka, Principal, College of Nursing, KINS, Prof. (Mrs.) Niyati Das, Vice Principal, KINS KIIT Deemed University and all faculties.

Mrs. Niharibala Nayak, M. Sc (N) Tutor, KINS delivered the welcome address and briefly overview the importance of teaching. Mrs. Sradhanjali Biswal, M. Sc (N) Tutor, KINS discussed on “Principles of practice teaching”. She highlighted on the art of using maxims of teaching skills. Mrs. Swetarani Dalei, M. Sc (N) Tutor, KINS discussed on principles of preparing A.V. aids, different type of A.V. aids and how the students can abide with the principles while preparing and presenting A.V. aids. Mrs. Aparnna Moharana, M. Sc (N) Tutor, KINS, discussed on “Lesson plan”. She focussed on different aspects of lesson plan.
