KIIT Signs Historic Tripartite MoU with Deloitte and Zell Education to Strengthen Industry-Aligned Fin-tech and Business Analytics Education
On 23 December 2025, KIIT Deemed to be University achieved a significant milestone by signing a historic Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and Zell Education Pvt. Ltd. The KIIT School of Economics and Commerce (KSEC) will act as the key academic facilitator, ushering in new-age academic–industry collaboration in the fields of fintech and business analytics
The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU, on behalf of KIIT, with Shri Jenul Sanghani, Partner, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, and Shri Anant Bengani, Co-founder and Executive Director, Zell Education, as counterparts.
Setting the context, Dr. Saswat Kishore Mishra, Associate Dean, KSEC, emphasized the growing need to think beyond conventional curricula to keep pace with evolving industry demands. Gracing the occasion, Prof. Raju K. D., Pro-Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU, remarked that for such an academic collaboration, Zell and Deloitte could not have found a better partner than KIIT.
Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Prof. Singh highlighted KIIT’s consistent leadership in understanding industry needs and preparing students, accordingly, noting that the University has always been proactive and expressing confidence that this partnership would go a long way in achieving shared objectives. Shri Sanghani and Shri Bengani, in their addresses, conveyed their delight in collaborating with KIIT, one of India’s most promising private universities.
The event was attended by Prof. (Dr.) Prachet Bhuyan, Dean, Training & Placement; Prof. (Dr.) Priyadarshi Biswal, Dean, KAREER School; and Dr. Pinaki Nandan Pattnaik, Dean, School of Leadership, among others. Proposing the vote of thanks, Prof. (Dr.) Sukanta Chandra Swain, Dean, KSEC, acknowledged the collective efforts behind bringing the MoU to fruition and underlined the timeliness of its introduction. The event witnessed the enthusiastic presence of all faculty members and research scholars of KSEC.
