KSMC Observes World Photography Day-2022

114

On the occasion of World Photography Day 2022, the students of School of Mass Communication, KIIT Deemed to be University organized a Photography Exhibition on “Street Photography” on the School premises. The day traces its origin to 1837 when the first-ever photographic process, the ‘Daguerreotype’ was developed by the Frenchmen Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicephore Niepce. The budding photographers and faculty members of KSMC contributed photographs for the exhibition. Street photography is a way of connecting with the world and bringing back the moments that stand out. The exhibited photographs include various moods of streets like the life in the footpath, vendors of streets, chitchat and pleasure moments of urban citizens and the rural flavour of streets. Students and faculties from all Schools visited the exhibition and appreciated the effort of the students. The exhibition was coordinated by Dr. Anurag Sahu, Faculty Instructor, Photojournalism.
