Guest Lecture on Essential Evidence Collection in Solving Unknown Murders

On February 26, 2024, the School of Law, KIIT Deemed University had the privilege of hosting a guest lecture on “Essential Evidence Collection in Solving Unknown Murders.” The lecture, delivered by Sri. Sanjeev Sathpathy, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Twin City, provided invaluable insights into the critical process of evidence collection in cases of unknown murders. Sri. Sanjeev Sathpathy, an esteemed expert in the field, shared his extensive knowledge and experience with the audience, consisting of law students eager to learn about investigative techniques and procedures. His lecture was not only enlightening but also educational, offering valuable perspectives that are crucial for aspiring legal professionals.

The event was graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Rose Varghese, Director of the School of Law, facilitated the lecture. Dr. Chinmayee Nanda served as the Convenor, with Dr. Siddharth as the Co-Convenor. The coordination of the event was impeccably handled by Dr. Sarvesh Sahi and Dr. Tulishree Pradhan, the faculty coordinators. The smooth conduct of the lecture was ensured by fourth-year students Satabdi Mohapatra, Vijay Misra, Ankeeta Dutt, and Manasi Sridhar, who took charge of anchoring and rapporteur duties. Their efforts contributed significantly to the success of the event.
