Flagship Journals of KIIT Law School Released
Two flagship journals – KIIT Journal of Law and Society (2018-2020, Special Issue) and KIIT Student Law Review (2020, Volume VII) – were released on 2nd August 2021. The journals were released by Prof. (Dr.) Sasmita Samanta, Pro Vice-Chancellor, KIIT-DU in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Jyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar; Prof. (Dr.) Bhavani Prasad Panda, Director, KIIT Law School (KLS) and the Directors and Deans of the constituent schools at KIIT.
KIIT Student Law Review is an annual, student-edited journal having a double-blind peer-review process of selection. KIIT Journal of Law and Society has been edited by Prof. (Dr.) Bhavani Prasad Panda and Dr. Shakti Deb, Assistant Professor, KLS.
The journals have featured research manuscripts published by student authors and academicians of repute. The topics of the research manuscripts are of much practical relevance and contemporary. The journals are conceptual as well as practice reflective and it connects research, policy making and field in paradigms of law. Both the journals act as platforms and encourage emerging scholars and academicians globally to share their knowledge, ideas, critical thinking and opinions in the fields of law.
