Webinar on ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ at KSOM
KIIT School of Management (KSOM) conducted a webinar on the topic ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ on 10th April 2021. Ms. Amrita Dutta, an entrepreneur, who is working to empower the differently-abled and encourage diversity in India, was the guest speaker for the session. In her talk, she said that businesses need to adapt to diversity and inclusion to be competitive in the economic market. Diverse and inclusive workplaces earn deeper trust and more commitment from their employees, she stated, while describing how diverse and inclusive workplaces come up with more innovative work practices.
Ms. Dutta is currently associated with Sterling: Managing Employee Relations in India and Asia Pacific. Her HR work experience comprises 11+ years across the globe in organizations namely, Wipro and TCS. She has completed Masters in HRM (University of Leeds, UK) and Masters in Sociology with Minor in Women Studies (University of Pune, India).
Prof. Isa Mishra facilitated the webinar, which was highly interactive. Ms. Riddhi Goswami, MBA I student anchored the session.
