First Talk under ‘Alumni Talk Series’ at KIIT School of Architecture & Planning
KIIT School of Architecture & Planning conducted their first talk under the ‘Alumni Talk Series’ on 13th March 2021 in collaboration with the KIIT Alumni Association. In an informative and interactive webinar, KIIT alumni Sucheta Bhattacharya, Architect, Auroville Earth Institute and Mukul Ray, Founder, MYRIAD Studios, Kolkata offered practical insights to prepare stunning portfolios and smart tips to apply for internships. While Sucheta described the roadmap for a good portfolio detailing the do’s and don’ts, Mukul stressed on the importance of using the right software and charted out the cities which have good offices and studios for architects.
The talk followed a thorough question-answer session. Prof. S. S. Ray, Director, School of Architecture & Planning also interacted with students and alumni. This event is a stepping stone to more such sessions in the future, which will help bring together the student and alumni community for the University and the School. The session was coordinated and moderated by Prof. Parthiba Chakraborty, Alumni Coordinator.
