KIIT Signed an MOU with JS Renewable to enhance proficiency of B. Tech students in the area of Renewable Energy

KIIT School of Electrical Engineering initiated a “Green Energy Academy” in association with leading Corporate Houses. The objective of the academy is to collaborate with the MNRE, Government of India’s flagship dream project of “Skill India” to create trained manpower in the area of Renewable Energy.

In this connection, an MoU was signed between Mr. J. S. Bhatia, Founder, JS Renewable and KIIT School of Electrical Engineering at the Conference Hall, Campus-3 on 19th January, 2018, as part of the GET Program for escalating proficiency of the B. Tech students in the area of Renewable Energy.

“Under the academy, we are launching a ‘Graduate Engineering (GET)’ program in the area of Solar Energy from the 1st week of February, 2018,” said Dr. Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi, Dean, KIIT School of Electrical Engineering.

The ceremony was concluded with Vote of Thanks to the Guests. Meanwhile, a Laboratory Booklet was unveiled by the Guests for strengthening the students’ knowledge.

After the MoU Signing Ceremony, Mr. Bhatia interacted with Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar, KIIT Deemed to be University and also with all the faculty members of respective core branches present on the occasion.
