KIIT Polytechnic Celebrates 27th Foundation Day
The 27th Foundation Day of KIIT Polytechnic was celebrated on 20th August 2021. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder-KIIT & KISS congratulated the students and staff on the eve of the Foundation Day. He also distributed sweets to few staff present in the campus. Shri R.N. Dash, Secretary- KIIT & KISS was also present and encouraged all the staff.
In celebrating the Foundation Day, a virtual meeting was held amongst all the staff & students, where Principal Dr. P.R. Tripathy addressed the students and staff and pointed out the evolution of the Great Institution. He advised the students to focus on their career and stay safe in this pandemic. Vice Principal Mr. S.K. Rout hosted the meeting and placed a brief introduction about the day and well being of the students as well as their future prospects.
Addressing the participants, Mr. L.M. Lenka, Coordinator(Students’ Welfare) enlightened on the journey of KIIT and the social commitments made by the Founder during this pandemic. Mr. S.S. Das, Administrative Officer, informed the students regarding the opportunities available in KIIT for enrichment of their bright career. Finally, the Vice Principal proposed the Vote of Thanks. About 500 participants attended the meeting on virtual mode to observe the Foundation Day.
