IBM Extends Skill Program to KIIT Polytechnic Students

A LoU (Letter of Understanding) was signed between KIIT Polytechnic and CSRBOX Foundation -IBM SkillsBuild Country Partner on 3rd April 2024. As per the LoU, IBM SkillsBuild will on board KIIT Polytechnic as their ‘Skills Partner’, thereby expanding their learner base. Students from KIIT Polytechnic will be trained to enhance their skills and make them industry ready in today’s competitive market.

 Latest news In his presidential address Principal, KIIT Polytechnic Dr. Tanmaya Mohanty highlighted the importance of these kinds of understandings  between academic institutions and industry. He advised the students to take full advantage of these skill programs. Mrs. Pragyan Mohanty, Deputy Director of CSR, KISS  welcomed the guests. Mr. Sukanta Kumar Rout, Vice Principal briefly addressed about the journey of KIIT and the recent achievements of KIIT Polytechnic. The theme and objectives of this LoU was talked about by Dr. Pampa Nandi, Deputy Director, KIIT Skills.  Mr. Rrituraj Bohidas, Senior Engagement Associate, CSRBOX & IBM SkillBuild,  gave the  insights into how this initiative can turn out to be a game-changer for the students  in their respective careers and oriented about the process to take part in this skill program.  The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Durga Sankar Panda, Coordinator, Skills, KIIT Polytechnic.
