Orientation Program on Summer Training by Career Advisory & Augmentation School and T&P Dept.
An Orientation Session on Summer Training Programs was organized by Career Advisory & Augmentation School, KIIT-DU for the students of KIIT Schools of Technology on 13th May 2021. The motto of the program was to intimate and acclimatize students about various Summer Training Programs on industry-focused niche technical courses and competencies in trend. The program being facilitated by Training Placement & CAAS during the Summer 2021 will help the students augment their level of industry-readiness for the upcoming on campus recruitment opportunities.
Speaking at the Orientation Session, Prof. Priyadarshi Biswal, Dean, CAAS emphasized the pre-requisites of industry during the ongoing virtual hiring process. Dr. Suman Bhattacharya, Director, CAAS enlightened the students with the technology shift and adaptation happening in the current times. Prof. Saranjit Singh, Director IE & Placements apprised the students of the current industry scenario and focused on the need of getting skilled up and equipped with proper hands-on experience in order to compete for the high-end jobs and internships. Prof. Prachet Bhuyan, Dean T&P and Prof. Abhisekh Ray Dean IE addressed the students on top-notch corporates which have been recruiting on new-age technologies.
CAAS subject matter experts along with industry SMEs guided the students in choosing the right courses with respect to their inclinations and preparedness. Dr. Deepak Raut, Professor in-charge, Summer Training proposed the vote of thanks and Ms. Sujata Acharya, Executive CAAS, coordinated the program.
