KIIT Student Makes 3 World Records in Yoga
Rinku Taunk, a Master degree student of School of Yoga, KIIT Deemed to be University, has inscribed her name in the Yoga World Book for the Longest Performance of Dhyana Virasana, Longest Performance of Gupta Padmasana and Most Performance of Padmasana in Different Yoga Postures. Within a span of only a year, she has made three world records by her dedication, hard work and perseverance.
Rinku, who is also an MBA from Utkal University, is currently living her dreams and following her passion in Yoga. She is a Yoga Trainer from Cuttack, Odisha. She has achieved many accolades not only in the field of Yoga, but also in other areas. Apart from being a Yoga Trainer and a homemaker, she is also a TEDx motivational speaker, World Record holder, story teller, writer, blogger, etc.
She has received the Young Author Award Winner from ‘Pen in Books’ for the book titled ‘Jigisa’. She has written another book titled ‘Chhote Muhn Badi Baat’. She served as a Corona warrior during lockdown with the Adhikar Foundation, received Rajya Puraskar and Rashtrapati Award in Scouts and Guides.
