KIIT Internal Quality Assurance Cell Organizes Series of Events under Viksit Bharat@2047 Initiatives
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of KIIT-DU organized a series of events under the selected theme of Viksit Bharat @2047. Viksit Bharat 2047 is an ambitious program launched by the Government of India, with the goal of transforming India into a developed nation by the year 2047, which marks the 100th anniversary of the country’s independence.
Latest News The objective of the events was to create awareness about the concept of Viksit Bharat and to provide a platform for the students and faculty members to brainstorm and discuss ideas and solutions in achieving the goal of developed India. The IQAC organized nine events which comprised workshops, invited talks, exhibition and seminars during 31st March – 8th April, 2024. The talks were organized in the lines of Viksit Bharat themes such as Frontier Technologies for the Future, Transport Infrastructure & Logistics, Caring & Inclusive Society, Tourism – Leveraging Culture, Heritage & Geography and Employment & Labour.
Selected events were organized in collaboration with IET India. The resource persons for the different events were Dr. Partha Pratim Dey, IIT BBSR; Prof. Purna Chandra Mishra, Dean Research, SME; Ms. Smruti Rayguru; Alumni-KIIT, Aerospace Engg; Prof. Satya Narayan Misra, Professor Emeritus, KSOM; Mr. Vimal Choubey, IET India; Prof. Jayalaxmi Samal, SOH; Prof. Purnima Bhoi, SOPH and Prof. Arindam Basak, SOEE.
The events were coordinated by IQAC coordinators Prof. Mrutyunjay Jena, SOME; Prof. Kshyana Prava Samal, SOCE; Prof. Suman Roy, SOEE; Prof. Sruti Singh, SOEE; Prof. Jayalaxmi Samal, SOH; Prof. Purnima Bhoi, SOPH; Prof. Pratuyasa Mukherjee and Prof. Manjusha Pandey, SOCE; Dr. Upasana Panda and Mr. Anurag Dash from IQAC. Dr. Siddharth Swarup Rautaray, Dean Quality Assurance coordinated the overall events.
