“Mission Aarogyam” – a Free Health Check-up Camp

The NSS wing of KIIT School of Electronics Engineering, Project Lakshya, successfully organized “Mission Aarogyam” – a free health check-up camp in its adopted village, Injana, on 15 March 2026.

Guided by the inspiring motto of NSS Project Lakshya – “Love, Grow, Serve,” the dedicated volunteers worked with enthusiasm and compassion to make this initiative a great success. The camp was conducted in collaboration with a professional team of doctors, nurses, and medical staff from Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), who ensured proper medical examination and guidance for the villagers.

The health camp received an overwhelming response from the community, with more than 70 villagers attending the free health check-up. The doctors carefully examined the residents and provided valuable medical advice and awareness about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

This mission was led by Prof. Prasant Kumar Patra (Programme Officer, School of Electronics Engineering); Dr. Subhrakant Behera (Programme Officer, SOEE); Dr. Smruti Ranjan Dash (NSS Liaisoning Officer & Programme Officer, KIIT School of Economics & Commerce); and Mr. Prakash Sahoo, along with the help and coordination of volunteers of NSS Project Lakshya, SOEE.

This initiative marked an important milestone for NSS SOEE Project Lakshya, reflecting the true spirit of service and community welfare. Through teamwork, dedication, and compassion, the volunteers once again demonstrated the real meaning of the NSS motto, “Not Me, But You.”

With the guiding values of “Love, Grow, Serve,” the volunteers remain committed to working for the betterment of society and building a healthier and more aware community.
