KIIT NSS Bureau Celebrates National Youth Day
NSS Unit of the School of Biotechnology under the Community Engagement Cell celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2023, marking the birth anniversary of spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda.
Addressing the volunteers on the occasion, Dr. Kajal Parashar, Dy. Director, CEC & Program Coordinator, KIIT NSS Bureau motivated them to inculcate thoughts and ideas of Swami Vivekananda in day-to-day life. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS, who has propelled the mission of education in Odisha from soil to silver in the last 25 years, is an inspiration for millions of youths, she stated.
Dr. Kaish Q. Khan, Professor, KIIT School of Management; Dr. Abhishek Kumar, Program Officer & Associate Professor; and volunteers from different departments of KIIT NSS Unit also spoke on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Prabhat Kumar Rout, Program Officer, KIIT NSS, School of Biotechnology. The program was moderated by Ms. Madhusmita Panda and Ms. Smita Rani Nayak from Community Engagement Cell.
