KIIT Signs MoU with Inje University, Republic of Korea

KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) and AI Convergence College & Institute of Digital Anti-aging Healthcare, Inje University, Republic of Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on various aspects of academic and research on 26th September 2022 on virtual platform.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU outlined the achievements of the university. Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar highlighted the research potential of the university. Prof. Sushanta Tripathy, School of Mechanical Engineering discussed the potential areas of mutual collaboration and emphasized the role of students in carrying out high end research.

Prof. Hee-Cheol Kim, Dean of AI Convergence College, Inje University, Republic of Korea thanked the leadership of KIIT-DU for extending support for the MoU. He acknowledged the tremendous potential of the KIIT researchers in developing digital technologies and supporting the industries especially, the health sector. He highly appreciated the silent revolution brought by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS by bringing underprivileged children to mainstream society. Prof. Steven Yong-Suk Kim, Inje University outlined the benefits this collaboration will bring to the students. Finally, the Officer of International Affairs, Inje University introduced the Global Scholarship Korea (GSK) Program.
