KIIT Signs MoU with IndoAsia Copper Ltd.

KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) and IndoAsia Copper Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Kiri Industries Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration on various aspects of industrial R&D activities on 16th August 2022. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Vice Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University outlined the achievements of the University. Prof. Benu Gopal Mohapatra, Director, Consultancy Services highlighted the possible areas of mutual collaborations. Prof. Suraj Tripathy, Associate Dean, KIIT School of Chemical Technology highlighted the various dimensions of the existing industrial collaborations and future engagement opportunities with the Indo Asia Copper Ltd.

Mr. Sanjay Sarkar, CEO and ED, Indo Asia Copper Ltd. thanked the leadership of KIIT-DU for extending support for the MoU. He acknowledged the tremendous potential of the KIIT in developing futuristic technologies and supporting the national manufacturing sector. He highly appreciated the social revolution brought by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS by bringing underprivileged children to mainstream society.

Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT thanked the guests for their commitment to engage with the academic institutes. Senior functionaries of various schools – Prof. Biswajeet Sahoo, Prof. Chinmaya Kumar Panigrahi, Prof. Ashok Kumar Sahoo, Prof. Sanjib Moulick, Prof. Bharat Chandra Routara, Prof. Srinivas Patnaik and Dr. Byamakesh Nayak – were also present on the occasion.
