KIIT Presents 61st Femina Miss India Grand Finale
The 61st Femina Miss India Grand Finale will be held at KIIT Deemed to be University in April.
An MoU was signed today in Mumbai between KIIT DU and Femina Miss India, paving the way for KIIT to become the first university in India to host this mega event. It will also be the first time an event of this scale has been organized in eastern India.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KISS. The signatories included Prof. Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of KIIT University; Prof. S. S. Ray, Director General of KIIT School of Architecture, and Rohit Gopakumar, Chief Executive Officer of the Times Group, representing the Times Group.
The programme was held at the Times of India office in Mumbai, where several distinguished guests, including officials from Femina Miss India 2025, were present. The event was also broadcast live during the signing ceremony.
Four months ago, representatives from Femina Miss India visited KIIT and KISS to inspect the infrastructure. Impressed by KIIT’s excellent facilities, the Femina Miss India authorities decided to host the event at the university.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Samanta said that as this is a prestigious event, hosting it is a matter of pride and honour for KIIT, KISS, and Odisha. He thanked Vineet Jain, Managing Director of the Times Group, CEO Rohit Gopakumar, and the Femina Miss India team for selecting KIIT as the venue for the grand finale.
