KIIT-DU Participates in the QS Higher Education Summit Asia Pacific 2024 in Macau

KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) participated in the QS Higher Education Summit Asia Pacific 2024, held at Macau University of Science & Technology (MUST), Macau, from November 5-7, 2024. Representing KIIT-DU were Dr. Siddharth Swarup Rautaray, Dean of IQAC, and Prof. Swagat Das, Assistant Director of Ranking at IQAC. During the event, the representatives engaged with global thought leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss and shape the future of higher education.

KIIT-DU signed an MOU with Diponegoro University, a prominent Indonesian institution established in 1957 and currently ranked 721 in the QS World University Rankings, to promote research collaborations. The event also facilitated discussions on potential research and student exchange partnerships with various universities, including Lingnan University, Hong Kong; Macau University of Science and Technology; University of Sharjah; Inha University, South Korea; AL-QUDS University; Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia; University Brawijaya, Indonesia; Mapua University, Philippines, and several others.

At the summit, KIIT-DU received the ranking certificate for achieving 257th place in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings 2025, released on November 6, 2024. Additionally, in the QS Southern Asia Rankings 2025, KIIT-DU achieved a remarkable advancement, rising to the 55th position from its 90th place in 2024. The ranking certificate was presented by Mr. Ashwin Fernandes, Executive Director of QS, during the summit.
