KIIT Deemed University signed an MoU with Hanyang University, South Korea
KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) signed an MoU with Hanyang University, South Korea on 10th February, 2018 at 11 AM. This MoU Signing Ceremony was graced by Prof. Biswajit Sarkar, Associate Professor, Department of Industrial Engineering Hanyang University; Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, VC, KIIT-DU; Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar, KIIT-DU; Dr. Sucheta Priyabadini, Director Student Services KIIT-DU along with Deans and Directors, Faculty Members , Staffs and Students.
In her address, Prof. Sasmita Samanta spoke about the need for collaboration with various Foreign Universities for academic development and progress of KIIT. She further said that KIIT has tied up with more than 20 Korean Universities and expressed hope both the Universities would reach new heights of career development through this MOU.
Expressing his pleasure, Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty said that the trend has started now to ‘look towards east’ and discussed the importance of the MOU for KIIT as well as Hanyang University.
Prof. Biiswajit Sarkar bestowed profuse praise on Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS for making both KIIT & KISS so magnificent and incredible. He told the students that the MOU would fetch a lot of benefits through various Student Exchange and Faculty Exchange programmes and would bring a new era in strengthening the bond between KIIT and Hanyang University, South Korea.
Dr. Sucheta Priyabadini proposed the Vote of Thanks. She thanked Prof. Biswajit Sarkar for coming all the way from Korea to India to sign the MOU. She recalled those days of last year when she had her first communication with Prof. Sarkar regarding the initial phase which finally got materialized on 10th February, 2018.
The MoU Signing Ceremony was coordinated by Dr. Deepanjali Mishra, School of Humanities, KIIT-DU.
