KSAC’s Khwahishein Society Celebrates Hindi Diwas
“Khwahishein”, the Hindi Society of KIIT functioning at KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC), organized another series of “Abhivyakti” on 13th & 14th September 2022 to celebrate Hindi Diwas and give prominence to the Hindi language and literature. It was inaugurated by Prof. J. R. Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Shyam Sundar Behura, Deputy Director, Student Services and Dr. Kajal Parashar, Deputy Director, CEC.
Students across different campuses of KIIT participated in poetry (Kavyansh), debate (Dangal) and slogan writing (Pukaar) competitions organized on the occasion. The winners were awarded with cash prizes and certificates of excellence by the Guest of Honour, Mr. Agnivesh Mahapatra and Mr. Ashok Pandey. There were also short poetry recitations by the members and a mesmerizing singing performance by singers and instrumentalists of Korus Society.
Student Coordinator Sanat Raj and Assistant Coordinators Sameer Shekhar and Prachee Pragya were involved in coordinating the event under the guidance of Faculty Coordinator and Society Incharge, Mrs. Sonali Pradhan. Dr. Pallavi Kiran, Faculty Co-ordinator of Khwahishein Society, proposed the vote of thanks.
