KSAC Organizes Virtual Farewell for Outgoing Student Coordinators & Members of KSAC Societies


A virtual farewell “ADIOS” was organized for the outgoing Coordinators and final year student members of different Student Societies of KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC) on 12th June 2021. The coordinators were welcomed to the meeting by the hosts, Zenab Habib and Debjyoti Barman.

The event started with a Tabla performance by Richik Roy Chowdhury which was followed by a Quiz-cum-Interaction programme for the seniors on KSAC, its activities and their experiences at KIIT. The Quiz was hosted by Aditi. Then came the moment of nostalgia with a video which showcased their time at KSAC and KIIT.

A tinge of Bollywood is always appreciated and an open Bollywood quiz was hosted by Nivedita Basu and Yash Singh. The last event was a solo song performance by Subhojeet Bhattacharjee dedicated to the outgoing seniors. The entire programme was coordinated by Sudeshna Dutta and Subhojeet Bhattacharjee.

Wishing the outgoing students the very best, Faculty Coordinators, Dr. Kajal Parashar and Dr. Kshyana Prava Samal  told them to stay connected to their alma mater. Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director Student Services acknowledged the contribution made by the coordinators and thanked them for providing full support to make events happen during this time of pandemic.

He appreciated the team effort of every society and said that the students proved that necessity is not only the mother of invention but also the mother of innovation. He thanked all the Asst. coordinators and juniors as well as staff at KSAC for arranging the farewell and bid adieu with the statement that the outgoing students would always remain as prized alumni of KIIT.

Dr. Behura and all students were grateful to Founder, KIIT & KISS, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Vice Chancellor Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, faculty members and staff for supporting every venture KSAC undertakes.
