KSAC Hosts the 9th Episode of Koffee with Kalliope
The 9th episode of Koffee With Kalliope was held on 3rd October 2021 with Mr. Sandeep Jain, Founder, GeeksforGeeks as the guest. GeeksforGeeks, one of the largest engineering ed-tech platforms of India, has revolutionized the entire approach towards an engineering career. After pursuing B. Tech from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Mr. Jain went on to complete M. Tech. from IIT Roorkee. He was placed at the reputable DE Shaw & Co. A couple of years later, following his passion for teaching, he joined JIIT, Noida as an Assistant Professor. Ultimately, it was during this tenure that the GeeksforGeeks came into existence.
Through the entire stretch of the show, multiple queries regarding the dilemmas of placements and interview preparations were explicitly discussed. Mr. Jain emphasized the importance of identifying one’s passion as it serves as the best motivation of all. Mr. Jain demystified some of the common myths about placements and suggested ways to improve one’s profile. He also suggested a few strategies for students who are preparing for the placements within a restricted time-frame.
