Kraftify – Craft Workshop organized by Kraftovity Society of KSAC
Kraftovity, the crafting society of KIIT Deemed to be University, functioning under KSAC organized a Craft Workshop, Kraftify on 30th October 2021 based on the theme of Diwali.
Demonstration of Crafts including DIY Diya was presented by Harsha Singh. The most amazing part of this craft was it didn’t include wax. She shared how we can create our own stylish colored and fragmented diyas which will vibe with the Diwali mood. The next was preparation of a Gift Box. This creative craft was presented by Sanjeeb Tiwary. As we all end up buying expensive gift boxes for gifting, this craft was economical and easy to make. The whole craft was customizable. Then came the making of the Diya Stand, which was presented by Aishi. After making diyas it is necessary to make diya stand for extra Diwali touch. This craft was made from basic materials available in households like cardboard, beads, colored sheets etc. and would take a maximum 25 min to build.
The anchors, Aakriti and Samartha were the hosts. More than 230 students participated in the workshop. Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director Student Services congratulated team Kraftovity for conducting the workshop smoothly as well as thanked them for using environmentally compatible materials for making the products.
