KISS-DU Organizes “User Awareness on National Digital Library of India”
The KISS Library in association with National Digital Library of India Club organized a webinar on “User Awareness on National Digital Library of India” (NDLI) on 29th November 2021 for all the faculty members and research scholars of the University. The event was graced by the Patron, President, Secretary, Executive Member of the NDLI Club. Faculty Members KISS-DU attended the webinar.
In his welcome address, Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Vice-Chancellor of KISS-DU highlighted the importance of NDLI in the present context. Dr. Krupasindhu Nayak, Assistant Professor and Library-in-charge spoke elaborately on the relevance of NDLI in the teaching-learning process in the light of NEP-2020 guidelines. Mr. Atul Nag, Associate Professor and Mr. Debabrata Danasana, Assistant Professor, KISS-DU presented a detailed description of the e-resources available through NDLI. They also touched upon the differences between NDLI and Google.
A stimulating question and answer session was also part of the webinar. Mr. Rabin Kumar Khandayatray, Chief Librarian, KISS offered a vote of thanks to all present.
