A 40 Member Delegation from Harvard-India visits KIIT and KISS

A  40-member delegation of the Harvard India Trek invitational program, which visited KIIT and KISS  from 10th of March 2024, returned after completing all the programs on 16th March, 2024. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KISS felicitated and presented them with certificates at a special function  on 16th March 2024. They became engrossed in Odisha’s art, culture and traditions. As a testament  to their  penchant toward Odisha’s custom & traditions, they put on Sambalpuri Kurtas.

The delegation visited various departments and units of both KIIT and KISS and exchanged ideas with the students. They had a long interaction with KIIT & KISS  students and spent a lot of time with the students in  KIIT & KISS’s classrooms and also in the library. The team consisted of Harvard University alumni and current students. Some of the visiting Harvard alumni are working in politics, policy making, business, academia, law and development. One of the main objectives of their visit was to learn about the art, culture, heritage, socio-economic status of India, particularly Odisha.

After visiting KIIT and KISS, they experienced it and said that such a beautiful institution is rare in the world. They thanked Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS, for such an effort. On 15th March, the representatives paid a courtesy call on Dr. Achyuta Samanta at his residence and learned about his very ordinary lifestyle. They were happy to see KIIT’s Central Library, a unique library in Odisha.
