Youth Red Cross, Odisha State Branch conducted a District Level Residential Study-cum-Training from 22nd to 24th November, 2024 at Raja Madhusudan Dev Degree College of Science & Education, Patia, Bhubaneswar.
On this occasion, MBBS volunteers from KIIT School of Nursing, Computer Science, and Electronics Engineering attended the programme whole-heartedly through their participation in different activities displaying their inherent skills.
Two volunteers Mr. Sinjit Mukherjee from the KIIT School of Nursing secured second prize for delivering a talk on ‘Artificial Intelligence, a boon or bane’ while Mr. Aditya Singh from KIIT School of Electronics Engineering secured first prize in showcasing a skit on ‘Cancer awareness’.
These three day training programs enriched the volunteers in different volunteering activities. The whole event was coordinated by Dr. Ramesh Chandra Sethi, Dr. Ajit Kumar Pasayat, Dr. Junali Jasmine Jena and Dr. Chitralekha Jena. The District Coordinator, Convenor, Secretary, and Honorary Secretary, Odisha Youth Red Cross praised KIIT University and Founder Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta for immensely contributing to the society in different fields.
