KINS Organizes Alumni Talk

Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS), KIIT Deemed to be University organized the 5th virtual alumni talk series on 22th January 2022. Extending a warm welcome to the two alumni speakers – Miss Aditi Mukherjee and Mrs. Maitri Das – Prof. (Dr.) Niyati Das, Principal, KINS explained the objectives of the Alumni Talk Series – 5. Mrs. Purnima Sahoo, Asst Professor, KINS explained the importance of strengthening of the alumni network. The talk was attended by M.Sc. Nursing 1st year, 2nd year, B.Sc (N) 1st year, 3rd year and 4th year students.

Miss Aditi Mukherjee, an alumna of B.Sc. Nursing Programme (2013-2017 batch), spoke on the topic “Way to Abroad”. She is working as a registered nurse in Cardiology Ward, Wycombe Hospital, Buckinghamshire NHS Trust, United Kingdom. Miss Mukherjee, who had a dream  to settle down abroad, explained very nicely about her journey, while thanking KIIT, KINS, and all faculty members for all her success in life.

Mrs. Maitri Das, a master student of KINS (2017-2019 batch), is working as a Tutor in Norway. Speaking on “Approach for International Professionalism”, she explained some focus points on professionalism like language courses, way of communication, IPR, confidence and being open minded to get the success in life and settle down abroad. Mrs. Das expressed her gratitude to all the faculties of KINS for her success.

Both the speakers answered questions posed by the students. Mrs. Jayasmini Mohanty, Asst. Prof., KINS proposed the vote of thanks. About 240 students participated in the alumni talk.
