World Hand Hygiene Day Observed at KIMS

Every year on 5th May, KIMS celebrates International Hand Hygiene Day which serves as a yearly reminder to wash hands with soap or sanitizer at home, workplace or within the community. It is a very cheap and effective method which can be followed to avoid getting sick and spreading diseases to others. It holds a special importance for the people who are working in the health sectors across the country as they are with the patients 24*7. This year’ s theme     urged all the Nursing and Canteen staff of KIMS to celebrate it with much fervor and enthusiasm with the inauguration by Maj. Gen. Prof.(Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Pattnaik, Director General, School of Medicine accompanied by MS, NS, ADD NS, SR DNS, DNS, ICO, ICN TEAM.
