KIMS PG Residents Shine & in Annual State Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society

The Annual State Conference of the Indian Psychiatric Society, Odisha State Branch was held in Bhubaneswar on 27th March 2021. Dr. Sucheta Chatterjee, a third year Post Graduate resident from KIMS, participated and won Second Prize in the Inter-college State Debate. The debate was held in two rounds. Topics for the preliminary and final rounds were ‘The use of covert medications in psychiatric practice’ and ‘Legalization of cannabis’ respectively. In another achievement, Dr. Deepthi RA, a second year Post Graduate resident from KIMS, participated and won Second Prize in the scientific poster competition. The esteemed jury comprised of AVM Dr. R. C. Das, Dr. S. P. Swain and Dr. Surjeet Sahoo. The title for the presentation was – Sleepwalking and sleep driving as a rare side effect of zolpidem: A case report from India.
