KIMS Pathology Department Organizes Webinar on ‘Dermatopathology’

Dr. Anurag Sharma, an alumnus of Kalinga Institute of Medical Science (KIMS), delivered a webinar talk for the postgraduate students of KIMS in the field of dermatopathology. He discussed the approach to diagnose dermatopathology and shared a few histopathological slides virtually. He also discussed technical advancement of disease diagnosis worldwide. Dr. Sharma has earned accolades while working in institutes like MD Anderson Cancer Centre, USA and Mayo Clinic after completing MD Pathology (2012 – 2015) from KIMS. At present, he is a pathologist-cum-fellow in Dept. of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA.

KIMS PG students and all the faculty members attended the talk. He also thanked the Dept of Pathology, KIMS for boosting his academic interest virtually and assured to conduct some more sessions for the benefit of the PG students. This webinar was organized by Dr. Ranjana Giri and guided by Dr. Urmila Senapati.
