KIMS pain specialist invited as faculty at SARPS conference in Dhaka
Pain specialist from the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Dr. Rajendra Sahoo was invited as a faculty in the ninth South Asian Regional Pain Society (SARPS) conference which was held in Dhaka.
Dr. Sahoo was among few selected pain physicians from India, who were invited as the faculty to teach and share their knowledge in this prestigious International Pain Conference which, was attended by more than 600 doctors and faculties from South East Asian countries, UK, USA, Australia and Canada.
His lectures were highly appreciated and few doctors from Bangladesh want to visit KIMS for musculoskeletal ultrasound hands-on course which is conducted at KIMS every month.
Dr. Sahoo also taught delegates on shoulder ultrasound in the workshop and performed knee genicular nerve cooled radiofrequency ablation (a FDA-approved non-surgical treatment for knee arthritis) as a live case, which was relayed to the auditorium.
