KIMS Pain Specialist Invited as a Faculty for Ultrasound Guided Nerve Block Hands-on Workshop
KIMS Pain Specialist, Dr. Rajendra Sahoo was invited as a Faculty at the recently held Hands-on Workshop on “Ultrasound guided Nerve block and Pain management” organized by Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management, Care Hospital, Bhubaneswar. This was the 4th annual event held after a disruption of two years following Covid outbreak. Sixty doctors from Odisha and also from different parts of the country had attended this academic event to learn the latest and cutting-edge technique of Ultrasound application on Point of Care nerve block for acute and Chronic Pain Management.
Other national faculties were from Pondicherry and Shillong. Dr. Sahoo focused on upper extremity anatomy, sonoanatomy, nerve tracking, sympathetic blocks as well as recent advances. Delegates appreciated the tips, tricks and troubleshooting pearls shared during the Hands-on Workshop.
